A series of transformative events surrounding loss, including the death of her mother, led Maura to reflect upon how unprepared and under-resourced most people are for end-of-life, and to reimagine how we think and talk about death. These realizations became a calling for end-of-life work, leading Maura to become a death doula, build Memento Mori (a community-based deathcare service marketplace and platform), and to now join the Lily House staff as Director of Operations. Maura holds an MBA from the University of Michigan, lives in Truro, and loves to play Pickleball.
