Glenn’s life experience in human services is an integral part of his strength in advocating for people with cognitive disabilities. He is passionate about supporting their personal right to make crucial decisions about their lives and helping their voices be heard. Glenn is also an end-of-life doula/coach. He actively supports people in the process of dying while continuing to ensure that their life choices are honored. Glenn and his wife Margaret both grew up and raised their family in Eastham. They lost a son at birth over 25 years ago, causing Glenn to be especially sensitive to pregnancy, stillbirth, and infant loss, and the feeling of isolation that occurs with grief. Glenn works in home care where dignity is the core value in his practice. As an ordained minister, he is able to celebrate and console. As a skilled baker, he sees his craft as an opportunity to meditate, connect to his past, and to share and nurture family, friends, and colleagues.
